OUR COMPANY HISTORY
In 1987, Jeff Klett after earning his Doctorate in Education from the University of Illinois, moved back to Hawaii to obey God and establish a small drywall repair company working with Insurance carries and Property Management Companies all over the Island of Oahu. The Company was known as CLEANING UP.
Over the years a Partner was added and Matt Mathews added a second service truck and the company grew and the company name was incorporated and changed to 3 POINT RESTORATION, INC. Over the years the company grew up to 5 people, but remained a small home based service business. Under Jeff’s direction the service expanded to include clean up, drywall, flooring, and other service items, as they were needed.
It was Jeff’s desire to provide a service, not just a product, but a service to the community. In his desire to support missions work in both Hawaii and foreign countries he began using some of the monthly profits to expand, not just the business but the amount of support to our missionaries across the world.
After 17 years, Jeff added a partner Richard Green, who originally came to Hawaii in 2005 on a short term missions trip to help build a new church (it is now the largest church campus on the Island) here on Oahu. When Richard took the helm, 3 POINT took on a new direction and new strength. Richard brings with him over 18 years in the construction industry, passion for ministry and a desire to infect the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Jeff and Richard shared a common goal, to support mission around he world.
In light of this new vision, 3 POINT RESTORATION, A FULL-SERVICE GENERAL CONTRACTOR LICENCE BC-25166, changed its structure and positioned itself to grow into what is now the largest Restoration Company on the Island of OAHU (we also serve the outer islands) and possible the largest in the whole State of Hawaii. We offer a staff of over 30 and our services have expanded to include a full range and complete home remodeling and reconstruction services. Our goal is to offer you the customer a one stop service, handling all of your needs, eliminating the need for you to try and be a General Contractor.
In the area of missions 3 Point, with your help, is now supporting 21 missionaries across the world and has provided relief services in foreign countries such as Korea, Israel, Russia and China. It is the charter of 3 Point to give 10 % of every dollar into this special missions fund. Our desire and goal this year to raise our support level to include over 100 missionaries and/or church planting projects in third world countries.
On a local level, we offer a Food Bank through our web site that offers food to families in need, we are blessed to use our resources to help those who are in need. Should you know someone in need, please use the nominating form on our web site.
3 Point began service in Alaska in 2007 and is now in the last stages of construction of our new facility in the Mat-Su Burroughs, ALASKA. This new facility is 3000 square feet and has offices and a warehouse facility to service the south central part of the state of Alaska.
